Moving data from Booqme
Switching from Booqme? This is how you move your bookings and clients.
Two files from two screens and a preview where you see what will be saved before anything is stored. The guide tells you where to click to export in Booqme, how to upload it with us and what gets transferred and what doesn’t.
- Free
- No limit on bookings or clients
- Import of contacts and future appointments
This guide was prepared independently by Bienaro. It is not issued or approved by the operator of the Booqme service. We use the name to identify the service from which you can move your data.
Where to click
Download your data before you sign up anywhere. It is yours, whether you finish the switch or change your mind.
Bookings to CSV
In Booqme open “Rezervace” (Bookings). First clear all filters – search, “Datum” (Date), staff member, service and status: the export takes exactly what you have set on the page, so with a filter you would download only a slice. Then click “Export” in the top right and choose “Export rezervací” (Export bookings).
Blocked times to CSV
From the same “Export” menu you also download “Export blokace” (Export blocked times) with holidays and closed hours. With us you upload it as occupied times, so nobody can book into them.
Customers to CSV
Go to “Zákazníci → Seznam zákazníků” (Customers → Customer list). In the top right there are two icons with arrows; the one with the down arrow is the export. Don’t edit the files and don’t open them in Excel “just to have a look” – we recognise them exactly as they were downloaded.
As of October 2026 – if the interface has changed, let us know.
How to switch
- 1
Download your data from Booqme
Two files, two screens: “Rezervace → Export → Export rezervací” (Bookings → Export → Export bookings) and “Zákazníci → Seznam zákazníků” (Customers → Customer list) → the icon with the down arrow. Save both somewhere you will find them in a month – they are your backup, whether you finish the switch or change your mind.
- 2
Set up Bienaro
You give the business name and industry. In the setup guide, paste the address of your Booqme profile into the “Link to your business” field – we take the name, address, phone number and the whole price list including descriptions, prices and lengths of services. You fill in the opening hours yourself. The website, price list and opening hours then run at your-name.bienaro.com; you switch on online booking whenever you want. Nobody asks for your card.
- 3
Upload the data in the Switching guide
In the admin open the Switching guide. First you say from when you take online bookings – until then the website shows your phone number instead of the calendar, so nobody takes an hour you have already arranged. Then you upload the booking export and, separately, the customer export. You first see both in a preview: what will be saved, what is in the past, what overlaps. Only then is anything stored.
- 4
Switch over in one moment
On the day of the switch, first turn off new online bookings in Booqme. Right after that, download a fresh booking export and upload it – whatever is already with us, the preview shows as a conflict and doesn’t save again. Only then switch on accepting online bookings in the guide. That way two sets of available slots never run at the same time.
You will find the guide in the admin under Settings → Switching guide, at /admin/prechod. Clients don’t have to learn anything: they book from the link you send them.
What gets transferred
We transfer
From the booking export the date, time, client name, phone, e-mail, service and staff member; from the customer export the name, phone and e-mail. We take only Czech, Slovak or Austrian mobile phone numbers; the import skips a client with any other number, and such a number is not transferred with an appointment – the preview lists it. The phone number tends to be written in the file in the form ="+420…" so that Excel doesn’t change it, and the last row is a “Suma” (total) row – we recognise both and skip them ourselves. Our import doesn’t take the price from the file: the appointment gets the price and length of the service from your price list with us. If you agreed a different price or a longer time for some appointment, check it in the calendar after the import.
We don’t take over marketing consents
We don’t take over marketing message settings from the imported file. Before switching them on, check on what basis you may contact those clients. Booking messages (confirmation, reminder) are sent as usual.
We don’t transfer loyalty card points, credits and labels
You start keeping the calendar with us from the date you switch – that is why the saved export comes in handy if someone asks when somebody was last with you.
We don’t transfer past, cancelled and no-show appointments
They tend to be in the export and would only block hours that can be booked. The preview lists them so you know what wasn’t saved. If you don’t want to pull other people’s contacts into your database, tick “Import only as occupied times (without clients)” in the preview.
We expect the files as CSV with a header in UTF-8, at most 2,000 rows and 1 MB. The preview is the last place where mistakes are cheap to fix – read it.
Common questions about switching
Will my arranged appointments be transferred?
Yes, and that is the main reason this page exists. In Booqme open “Rezervace” (Bookings), in the top right “Export → Export rezervací” (Export bookings), and upload the downloaded CSV in the Switching guide. The phone number in that file is written in a special form because of Excel and the last row is a total – we recognise both and skip them. The preview tells you what will be saved, what is in the past, what is cancelled and what overlaps with what you already have in the calendar. From the same menu “Export blokace” (Export blocked times) works too; you upload it as occupied times.
What doesn’t get transferred?
Marketing message settings: we don’t take them from the imported file, and before you start approaching clients with offers, check on what basis you are allowed to. Credits, loyalty card points, client labels and history – past, cancelled and no-show appointments – are not transferred either. We transfer contacts (name, phone, e-mail) and future appointments with the date, time, service and staff member; phone numbers only if they are Czech, Slovak or Austrian mobile numbers. Our import doesn’t take the price from the file; it takes the price and length of the appointment from your price list with us.
What format should the files be in?
CSV with a header in UTF-8, at most 2,000 rows and 1 MB. Don’t edit the downloaded files and don’t open them in Excel “just to have a look” – the diacritics break when saved. Upload them exactly as they were downloaded; we recognise the headers ourselves.
How much does it really cost?
Kalendář 0 Kč, no card and no limit on bookings or clients. Rytmus 399 Kč a month or 3,990 Kč a year, with 2 active people in the team included – each with their own sign-in; each additional one 100 Kč a month (1,000 Kč a year), at most 990 Kč a month in total. Each location has its own account and its own plan. Final price, we are not VAT-registered. Only add-ons you choose are paid extra: your own domain (we register a new one in your business’s name for 499 Kč a year), additional team members above 2, text messages beyond the plan from a prepaid credit and printed materials on order. Nothing is charged automatically: an invoice with a QR code arrives.
And what about text message reminders?
We send them with Rytmus: 50 SMS a month included, more from prepaid credit from 1.40 Kč per SMS (the bigger the package, the lower the price; a long message counts as several SMS), to Czech, Slovak and Austrian mobile numbers. Text messages are part of Rytmus – on the free Kalendář we send confirmations and reminders by e-mail, with the appointment as a calendar attachment and a cancellation link.
Do you have a public API?
API and webhooks are part of Rytmus and we make them available on request: write to us, we usually get back to you within two working days and arrange switching them on. Even without them, for free and on every plan, you can pull your appointments into the calendar on your phone (an ICS subscription), and you can ask for a data export at any time.
Can I go back?
Yes. You can export clients and visit history for free in a machine-readable format – you can request it at any time, and we prepare the file only after 72 hours have passed, because we protect your clients both with two-factor authentication and with that delay. Reviews are not in the export. If you just stop paying for Rytmus, the website, clients and reviews stay in the free Kalendář; if you close the business, after a 14-day cooling-off period we delete its data including reviews. The database and its backups are on servers in the European Union (Germany) and we conclude a data processing agreement with you right at sign-up. Keep the old account open for as long as it takes until you are sure – just switch off new bookings in it.
You can try it side by side.
Setting up is free, so you can get Bienaro running and try it before you cancel anything in your old system.
You will find the full pricing on the home page. A detailed step-by-step guide is also in the article about switching from Booqme (in Czech); after signing in you will find the same in the help. Switching from somewhere else? We also have a guide to moving from Reservio.
